Herbal healing with natural remedies, this is something people have been doing since the world for humans came to being. For thousands upon thousands of years, we as a species have learned what herbs, spices, teas, lotions, sauves, and other concoctions that work best for healing. Today we are going to scour the web and several other places for information on what really works. Who knows you might have some of these things already in your kitchen or even in your garden.
Teas have been used in healing for centuries and across the globe, covering a vast ranges of cultures. They can help with a lot of things, from indigestion, anxiety, stress, sleep & so much more!
Some teas have proven health benefits and have been studied many times over, while others are still. relatively new. They have claims that have yet to be backed up by science & medicine.
My family and I have been practicing social isolation and distancing since March 11th. We are doing our part to help flatten the curve. With that being said here are a few instances where we went out in search of supplies for our family and what we observed while we were out. Below is part…
So, today we are looking into week three of our personal isolation, as I said before my husband started earlier than some here in GA/the US. I am very thankful that has company saw the need to send everyone home, and to have them start working from home when they did. We have been blessed to have him here with us and not in the office. Couple that together with our kids are homeschooled online and it has been a huge piece of mind all the way around. Yes, even as a Deist, I believe in blessings <3
Broken toys, we all have them, lets face it and with that we often have the children who cannot let go of them. As a mother, I have noticed our children react to letting go of things differently. Each one has their own way of dealing with loss and separation; this can also flow into when it is time to clean up their room.
Moms, Dads, Grandparents, Caretakers, have you ever wanted a way to get your little ones to help you pick up the house without slowing you down or getting in the way? As a parent, myself, and someone who used to run a nursery full of little ones; I came up with a few little games to help you all along the way. The is great for those who have children ages 2-7.
Here is a HUGE list of things I have come across in the last couple of days that I think will be helpful for many families these activities, tours, exercises, classes, book readings and more are great for connecting you as a family and help pass the time. Over the next couple of days and weeks I will be making a lot of these posts, to help out families who are not used to homeschooling their kids, and may need a bit more in the resource department.
Isolation is hard! Many are being forced into self isolation here recently with the Covid-19 outbreak reaching its Global Pandemic status. Which is taking its toll on many who are outgoing, fun loving, adventure seeking personality types. While the more introverted people are okay with being at home, people like myself… It is still hard not to be able to go out and get simple things that are essential to one’s live and family.
Social Distancing is keeping yourself and your family away from large crowds of people. Avoiding areas where crowds may appear in upwards of 50+ people. The current suggestion is to limit the exposure to 10 people or less if you have to go out and run errands. And then, if you do have to go out try to keep at least 6 ft between you and the other people around you. Which let’s face it is hard to do, especially if you are waiting in line at the grocery store to get toilet paper or even meat, both of which are in super high demand at the moment and most stores cannot keep up with that demand. Shelves everywhere have begun to become bare and many products are in short supply.
None of the current generations have seen anything like this in our lifetimes, there is only a few generations that have seen something like this on such a large scale. The last true pandemic was the spanish flu in 1918.
